Here come the blogs...

Alright everybody here come the blogs. We've sure been crazily busy here. We've been unpacking and getting our feet settled. Plus many of you know that I was in Indianapolis last weekend running a plant. Yup that's right my first week on the job and they already have me running our new product through a plant. Suffice it to say its mainly because I'm jumping into a job which is already being scaled up for production. But more about that to come....for now our lovely apartment.

There are 3 pools in our complex. The nice thing is the one nearest us isn't the one that the 'kids' use. So its usually nice and peaceful. Cherith and I have already splashed around a bit and got some sun.

And yup we've got a creek running through our apartment complex. Hence the name Villas of Preston Creek. It's nicely landscaped. There are always ducks or crane looking birds down in the water. And in the cool of the evening the rabits come out and munch on grass. You can see the little fence enclosure of ours there on the right.

There's also cattail down in the creek. A little bird came and told me that a certain brother-in-law of mine, who shall remain nameless and has two cats, has never seen cattail. So here it is.

Then here's a shot up at our apartment from down by the creek. Ours is the one there at the corner on first floor. As you can see there's a swing and a picnic table just outside our door.
